    Scan to Folder in Novell 6.5

    Has anyone done Scan to Folder in Novell 6.5 please?
    I am going to install a KonicaMinolta bizhub C550 but the MFP model and make is irrelevant in this case.

    Any help will be appreciated!

      well, according to this:
      Universal Send using SMB on a Netware 5.x 6.x Server
      and the wikipedia page for SMB:
      Server Message Block - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

      Novell 6.5 has native support for SMB, which means it should work. If the folder is visible from a windows machine then it should work for the scanner too.
      Make sure you get the user name and password though.

          I don't know about Bizhub's but Canon doesn't support scanning to Novell via TCP/IP, only IPX. It will work via TCP/IP but only if they use SMB or CIFS.

          If you can use SMB it is the simplest and easiest to use. Give write or change privilege. No complicated path names just:
          \\server\share
