Windows Server 2011- Ricoh 3228/3245 No Longer able to scan

I have a client who has just upgraded their office server to Windows Server 2011 and now their copiers will not scan or e-fax. Their network personnel have been unable to make the connections and everything was working fine with Windows Server 2003.
All workstations are Windows 7 64-bit and everything was working fine with Scan Router software in place for Server 2003 but evidently there have been some changes made in the 2011 server software.

Any recommendations and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's really time to give Scan Router (Lite or Pro) a rest.

It hasn't been supported since some time in 2006, yet here we are discussing why it won't work with the newest server OS out there.

If it helps (I'm guessing it most likely won't), I've never heard of anybody getting it to run on Server 2008.

Time to get an 'official' Ricoh response.

Too often, a customer will upgrade their OS without considering the adverse effect that it may have on their older equipment, then they expect you, their provider to correct it for free. If they want to buy new OS, they should also want to buy new HW.

Thanks, Everyone. Turns out the official response from Ricoh was just that... "Buy a service contract or we won't talk to you and BTW, you need to buy a new machine."
The fact that they just bought these machines two years ago doesn't matter. (Yeah, I know...the joys of being in a resale market)
Anyhow, I told em to add a Win XP machine to their network and run from that to see if that helps. Otherwise, it's new machine time.

          Thanks for all the input!
          Much appreciated.

FYI, a 3245 does not need SR to scan to folders. Have you tried the built in SMB folder scanning on the machine.

Actually, That's how it was set up previously with their network people. I've offered my suggestions and at this point , I'm staying away from it. "Too many cooks in the kitchen" if you get my meaning.

              Thanks anyhow.

Huh? I thought you said it was setup with SR?
