    <MPC4500 and Server 2011

I have a client who is finally upgrading their equipment to the MPC4500 and they want to be sure that there will be no issues with scanning to Windows Server 2011 prior to their purchase as this was a major issue with their older machines using SR -2.
Since 2011 is new and there are no drivers up on the website yet, I want to try to get ahead of this.

    Thanks in advance

Well, again SR2 will NOT work with this.

We are not looking to use SR -2, we want to make sure that it will function WITHOUT SR-2 for Windows Server 2011 since there don't seem to be any drivers for ANYTHING on the Ricoh website.

As long as you have the latest firmware for the Nic on the MPC 4500, Scan to folder should work to SBS2011. To get the Drivers from the Ricoh site, enter the model # in the Search with a space between the MPC and the 4500.

What was the client running for their server? 2K3? 2K8?

I don't think there is that much of a difference really between SBS2K8 and SBS2K11. If it's only scan to folder, I couldn't think of why it wouldn't work. If it's scan to email, I've had to have the customer set a connector for relay on the machines IP address to allow it to scan even within the domain.

Oh, and you're right. there are no drivers for 2K11 yet but I am betting that the 2K8 drivers will work just fine.
