We have a E-studio 520 printer in our office.
It is connected to our network, but does not show. It is connected to our 16 port cisco router and shows connectivity.
However I am unable to find or 'see' it on the network. I have downloaded a few driver packages and their set up process does not locate the device either. Windows printer search also cannot locate it.
I have logged into the admin section and under smb set enabled, along with changing the device name to toshiba1. I have scanned all other device settings and everything appears fine to allow connections.
I was able to connect this device last year on a different machine (windows 7 64 bit) and print to it. That was with a different router only... All other details are now the same (dell machine, win 7, same driver package).
As of today, I cannot see the issue, but this is not my area of expertise.
Could someone provide a step by step guide for this, and possibly a verified driver link (i used the generic drivers from tosihba's website for this device). Or any tips based on similar issues that might point me in the right direction? Happy to provide additional info.
