    A+ or Net+

I need to get A+ or Net+ cert. Which one would be more benifical for a copier tech? Which is the easiest to learn? What resources has anyone used to learn? How many man hours did it take?

I know, I'm just full of questions, but this site is where all the real information hits home. You folks are great.

They are great on resumes, but IMHO they will not make you IT proficient. Real IT know-how takes a life-long love of computers or years and years of work-related experience.

I took 4 semesters of Cisco training, working on copiers 5 years I have never had to console into a router.

It's all what you make of it, my point being, some people study just to pass the test and some people have inherit curiously and interest in computing.
