The OS is Windows 7 Enterprise, using Sharpdesk to scan PDF file to e-mail (Outlook) I get the file in my email, but I get a message that the document can't be read and the file won't open. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
I would just suggest not using Sharpdesk altogether. Clunky and adds a whole level of unnecessary paths to do simple procedures. Only valuable for the OCR in my opinion.
Set up your DNS and such and do scanning to email directly to the address, without piddling around with Sharpdesk. All settings can be accessed from the web page.
Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?

Vesigoth,
just set it up to scan to sharpdesk, then click the email button. odds are it isnt putting the .pdf on the end of the filename. this sometimes happens with sharpdesl, but i think it is a setting within the computer.
