Canon 5180, please let me no if Im missing a setting. Is there some setting on the fiery controller that lets the copier send a file to the network folder. Thanks

are you using the fiery remote scan or universal send to create the scanned document?

Fiery remote scan is a pull application and is not capable of scanning to a network folder directly from the device. If you have the universal send function configured you can browse the network to your shared folder with the permissions set correctly and accomplish this.
