    Coinfiguration question

    Hello

I have an es2500c that I am having trouble printing with.

I have loaded the driver and can print but when I go to the printer properties it shows all the trays have letter in them. When I go to the configuration tab all the options are grayed out. Any thoughts?

    Thanks
    Joe

    Re: Coinfiguration question

Is it a shared driver from a server? If so, you may not have rights to change the configuration.

Check the permissions on the driver: your account for some reason may not have rights to change the accessories or options. See if you can add your account to the Manage Printers group with the rights to Modify.

What port are you using to print to the device with?Have you tried checking the properties of the driver when you are logged in as the administrator? What about from another computer? Is it shared from a server? Is it shared directly from the copier itself?Any other printers exhibiting the same issue?
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
