Re: Android printing
Try www.cortado.com . The app is free and supports a wide range of print devices.
There are several Cloud Print apps that work but because of all of the intermediate steps that need to be completed when communicating to a Cloud based server, printing will never be as fast or full featured as printing via a Network cable or local wireless router.
Cloud Printing is best suited to print a few pages of text at a time. Unless you have lots of time to wait, try not to print graphic intensive documents. -
Re: Android printing
we use "cloud print"(which is free) through our google docs and have the printer setup on a PC in the office that manages our google docs. Share the printer out and the techs accept it on their phones. they print pics, uploaded docs and other things that they need to share in the office. Setup was pretty easy and the processing speed is fairly fast even on large color documents.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment

Re: Android printing
If it's a solution for a customer, I'd stay away from any of the cloud based apps: no need to have their print data leave their network. Printbot works pretty well, as does Printhand (I've used them both on Android and BlackBerry without issues). There are also vendor specific apps like Smart Device Print for Ricoh, etc.
The key things are to look for as few steps as possible to printing, namely no PC interface needed, or any type of data leaving the network.Comment
