Re: Scanning software for mac
An embedded license is required for the machine, but first move will be enquiring with papercut MF if your machine is capable and runs hyerPAS. The embedded machine software is loaded onto your copier and if not registered will expire after like a month or something and your machine will be useless until removed or license if purchased. Great bit of software but do your homework first....What you want out of it EXACTLY, how many machines monitored and go from there.Comment

Re: Scanning software for mac
Might have to scrap that last comment, just noticed it was a MFP, don't think they'll have an embedded feature for MFP but I could be wrong.
Not really familiar with Sharp, if it's just a small MFP, Papercut may not cut it, as you'll need that embedded license to seperate scan accounts. otherwise it'll just show you total scans for the machine.
Only other way i guess, is if you have job accounting on that machine and monitor it internally.Comment

Download link for the setup of Sharp Embedded licences.
We are a PaperCut MF Reseller, so I have access to this stuff. Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.Comment
