Aficio 2045e and 2022 Windows Vista

Has anybody been able to scan from a Aficio 2022SP or a 2045eSP to a windows Vista computer. I've tried updating firmware to allow Scan to Folder to function on a Windows 2003, I've change NTLMv2 authentication, Named Pipes and Shares on the PC and did Microsoft's hotfix KB935755. Anybody has any more ideas on how to fix this.

Try Going Connecting To The M/c Through Web Image Monitor. Play Around There Looking For A Tab Where You Can Change The User Name And Password For Smb, Ftp Etc. Then Setup Your San To Folder Using That User Name And Password.

    That Solved My Problem.

did you update machine firmware, then go to sharedfolder user sharing permissitions and check activate change and read permissions, I think this will help

What symptoms or error message are you experiencing?

I would probably ditch the custom firmware and upgrade with the latest available.

Will the MFP scan/connect to any other PC's on the network? AV with firewall? I assume you tried manually typing the UNC path as opposed to trying to browse? Maybe try the IP address of the PC instead of the computer name?

I'm testing a 2045ESP with XP and Vista computers. I have no problems with Xp. I've tried everything listed in this website but nothing works. IT seems that all the new MP series work with Vista but not the older models.
