Has anyone tried and successfully configured a copier to scan to e-mail using u-verse from AT&T? We have never been able to get this to work and I'm curious to see if we are the only ones.

Re: scanning to e-mail using u-verse
That's going to depend on the who is hosting the clients email. Some use port 587, some use 465, some use 25. The outbound smtp server settings are going to depend on who is hosting the email as well. The at&t uses several depending on who the customer is signed up with (outbound.att.net and smtp.att.yahoo.com are common ones for at&t). Some require SSL authentication, etc. Make sure you have DNS setup on the MFP as well. A good way to trouble things is to take a look at a clients email account settings on one of their pc's and copy those settings (user id, password, outbound smtp info, outbound requires logon or not, etc.) into the MFP.Comment
