    Preview crashes on Mac runing Lion 10.7.x

    When printing to an IRAdv C5051 with a B1 Fiery using Preview or Text editor, the Mac displays the following message:

    "Preview quit unexpectedly while using the EF118958 (FF) plugg-in"

    Has anyone had any experience of this issue?

      Does the Mac even have a text editor installed? If not try TextMate, VIM or TextWrangler.

              its just a PDF file I believe and there trying to print it from preview unfortunately I'm not overly familiar with mac's I've sort of been thrown in at the deep end really

                  I though that might be the case, have them download a copy of Adobe Acrobat. I find Preview to be very buggy.

                      I print off my Lion mac server using adobe.
                      It does the job fine every time.

                          Known issue. Check the apple forum. Lots of good info there on it. Primarily affects fiery controllers in my experience.
