    Printing to Toshiba es4520c issues

    Hello

    I have a customer that is trying to run a folding job and I am having trouble getting the driver set up correctly. When I go to the configuration tab it does not show the correct set up. It shows all trays set to lt. All of the buttons on the page are grayed out. I have tried all three drivers plc6 xps and ps3 with little luck. I have been able to get one to run from time to time but when I send more than one set it takes forever to get to the printer.

      Usually if it is greyed out then you do not have significant rights to make changes. You will need to login as an admin to make the changes. Until the configuration is correct then the options will remain greyed out.
      As to the multiple copy issue, if you are using publisher or anothe rmicrosoft product do not select collate or number of copies from the print dialog popup. Go and select these from inside the driver properties. For some reason I have had a rash of these (Toshiba, Sharp, KM) do this. When you select the number of copies from the print popup screen it generates a job that has number of pages times the number of copies. If you select from the printer properties it send one copy with a repeat code for the number of copies requested. for example if the original is 10 pages with 10 copies it would send a 100 page job under the first setting and a 10 page job with a 10 repeat on the second.

      p.s. If I was not on vacation in baltimore I would be happy to give you a hand but then I would be in florida and could not.
      And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

          Hello

          I ended up installing the drivers again and can update the driver so the driver has the correct settings. I am now trying to print a 20 page pdf in booklet form. It either prints the orginal image is lt and I want to make ld size books. Each time I print it either turns the image and gives me two images on each page or asks for lt-r to be loaded in the bypass. Any thoughts?
