    canon & oracle

    hi guys,

    got a client who purchased (among others) an ir1133 this is causing a headache as they wish to print via oracle to it, they have the ps option but all that comes out is ps error - how would one go about adding a printer to oracle? thanks in advance

    Not your job to do that.

    The responsibility belongs to the Oracle administrator.

    You do NOT want to take on the liability of potentially breaking their Oracle server, and being on the hook for big $$ to get it repaired afterwards.

    If the customer disagrees with that, it's better to pull your machine(s) and say "Have a nice day."

      Exactly as the man KenB above has said.

      With Oracle, if you have to ask how it is done, then it is best to get their own admin to do it. Its not something you can stumble through and hope to get right.
