Toshiba 3510c with fiery x3eTY2-08 help

    I have a Toshiba 3510c and have a Fiery X3eTY2-08 several questions.

#1 I need the interconnect cable that goes from the fiery to the printer copier. This is a cable with a HPCen36m connectors on each end and about 30 inches long. The part no. is 6JE35917000. If anyone has one let me know what you want for it and how you would like to ship it?

#2 How do I find the ip address of the fiery to install the drivers? once the fiery is connected with the copier dose it use the ip address of the current copier?

I am sure more questions will follow as I try to get the fiery working on my 3510c.

IMHO, a fiery is overkill for any business class color mfp. I don't know anything about toshiba 3510, I assume it is business color not pro color. The output between a fiery controller and the built-in controller is probably going to be the same on a business color mfp. When the mfp has advanced features like micro toner, ability to vary the laser (dithering, dot size+shape), and higher resolution then a fiery might make a difference. From what I've learned Fiery's have better features (manage colors/profiles/expanded drivers) than the built-ins but the output is moslty driven by the mfp.
The chance that higher life forms might have emerged in this way is comparable to the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junkyard might assemble a Boeing 747 from the materials therein. -Fred Hoyle

First I'm not a toshiba guy, but I do Fiery. And you sound like an end user. When you get a cable and connect your fiery you should be able to go to the fiery menu and printable info will print the config page, showing the ip address. Yes the Fiery will need it's own ip address and network drop. And chameleon is right about the color out put on a buisness color box, although there will be some difference in color between the 2 controllers.
