Hi all,
I've been browsing the forum for solutions to my problem but I guess I could really do with some advice now.
I have purchased a second hand KM C6500 with an IC 303 rip. I am attempting installation and setup myself as I am on a really tight budget and willing to undertake the baptism of fire with learning about the machine as I intend to do the servicing myself.
The problem I am having (already) is that I have connected the RIP to the copier and then directly to the PC and installed drivers. Unfortunately the PC will not talk to the Fiery. I have printed out the config file and pinged the address but it just times out. The fiery seems otherwise OK as it can be accessed from the copier. It has a steady blinking green light and displays the logo and server name on the LCD.
The dealer I bought the machine from is now reluctant to talk to me or offer any support.
I unfortunately do not have the Fiery installation discs to reinstall the firmware.
Any help or advice would be very gratefully received, I have print jobs pending!
Thanks in advance,
Steve.
