Re: Scan to mobile android from Kyocera TaskALfa 250ci
with the Kyocera Mobile App at the google store would be where I'd start...I've never used the android one, but I'm sure it's similar to the iPhone one and it's pretty easy to use...just make sure the phone and MFP are on the same network and you are good to go..."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

Any Samba application should allow you to do the same thing. I've scanned to both my PlayBook (BlackBerry) and TouchPad from Ricoh equipment just by having them on the wireless network. The PlayBook scanned out of the box, but the Touchpad just needed a Samba application.
I'm still waiting to see printing built into a tablet as a native function. I'm guessing the Surface Pro will be the one to do it.Comment

Just curious about this, how do you scan exactly,e-mail?smb? Do you need to set up a user in the address book of the machine first?Comment

Re: Scan to mobile android from Kyocera TaskALfa 250ci
I have mine set up with my gmail account for scanning....but the other option for scanning is webdav...the app tells you what to put into the MFP to sync it up with your phone...also you have to go thru this procedure each time you scan with webdav...it's why I prefer scanning to gmail..."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."

Well I use the same program that you say "Kyocera print" but when i try scan I get a message error "No connection" when i can print normally from the phone. Then I introduce my ip in the adress book of the copyer but when make the test conecction always report a error.I would like a transmission by smb directly to my phone,no gmail or another sending.Comment

I apologize...got this thread mixed up with another thread I was posting in...I thought we was talking PS Mobile for Konica Minolta...as for the Kyocera Print you might check the authentication or job accounting or such...I haven't really played with it as much as I have the PS Mobile app..."In a cruel and evil world, being cynical can allow you to get some entertainment out of it."
