Ricoh MP C300 Fax over IP Setup

Hey there,

I've tried searching google and these forums but haven't been able to come up with the answer I was looking for. FoIP is a new concept for me, I understand what it is but I've never had to deal with it. I know this Ricoh MPC300 supports T.38 but I honestly have no clue as to where to start for making it work. The machine has network connectivity as users are currently printing and scanning.

Is there anything that has to be done to the phone system, or is it all done at the machine? As you can tell, I'm fairly lost. I'm great with computers and very comfortable but just have zero experience in this area.

If you "have no clue" then you should escalate it. FoIP does not use the phone system, it uses the internet. Yes, Ricoh supports FoIP (T38 and T37 protocols) out of the box but it has to be turned on. If you know what you are doing but something does not work for you then this forum is great for help ....
