    Mac printing Problem

I have a problem with Mac's running O/S 10.7 printing to Bizhib C650 and Bizhub C451. When the customer goes to print one set or print, the copier will try to print 9999 sets or 9999 single pages. however if the customer prints 2 sets or 2 prints the copier will print just those prints.

the firmware on the copiers is up to date, and the Macs are using the latest printer drivers .

Has any one had this problem, and if so how did you resolve it.

Look at the printing defaults on the machine control panel. I had this happen on a KM MFP that someone had changed the print defaults from 1 to 999.
I think that on a Mac printing when you do not change the print amount in the driver it uses the defaults for the printer, but when you change it to 2 or more it overides the defaults.
You would not see this issues on Windows printing because the driver will overide the defaults.

Had a copier that would always print out 10 pages even though you told it one page. Turned out to be someone played with it and changed the defaults. (it's under user tools)
Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
