Imagistics DL650 IP address and password reset

Hey all, quite new to the copier world.

I've recently acquired an Imagistics DL650 copier. The thing still runs fine after seven years of being in a corner. I have run into some restrictions though. First, it wants me to give an ECM password to "unlock" it. I don't know it, but I read that the password (and the key operator password) can be reset via the web configuration utility. Problem is, I don't know the IP address to the copier. Is it a generic IP or is is copier-specific? Anyone know what it is, since I can't get into the key operator mode. Better yet, can I factory reset the copier without the web configuration?

    Much thanks!

Probably would be simpler to reset through the control panel access; something that you can find through a Google search....Use the OEM equivalent model #....

Re: Imagistics DL650 IP address and password reset

I have solved my original problem. Turning on the copier while holding the 2 and 5 buttons down bypasses the menu password and allowed me to see what the passwords were for the copier. After resetting those, I am now able to use it.

Now another problem has came up. When I try to copy, the copier starts to copy, but then stops and says that there is a paper jam. This problem happens on all three trays. The copier doesn't attempt to pick up the paper, as I can see. It just starts, then faults out with a paper jam.

Another problem is that with the EDH, it reports a paper jam. However, I have verified that there is no paper at all in it that could be causing a jam. I believe a sensor has malfunctioned. Is there a way to fix any of these?
