    Ricoh mp 7502 scan to folder server 2012

    please advice how to setup server 2012 to accept scan SMB from ricoh MP 7502

    You will need to update the devices firmware. Just glossing over them now, it doesn't look like SMB to Windows 8 / Server 2012 has been added (unless it was at 1st production).

      I think that the latest & greatest firmware enables SMB scans to Windows8/Server 2012. The MPc5502 firmware readme didn't mention Windows 8 either - only MAC 10.7 SMB scanning, but I updated a customer with it and enabled Server 2012 scanning successfully.

      I haven't run into Server 2012 on a B&W 02 yet so I could be wrong, but the readme is the same as on the c5502.

        How long have the upgrades to the firmware been released?

          There was a slew of firmware updates in April. It seemed like Ricoh was sending update emails just about every other day.
