hi every 1

i have ricoh220 with conecttivity. computer detect nrg 27 cpm. and also when there is print no print and after restart machine print are come.
any 1 share what is that problem and also tell me access controle and gate way adrees what i write thier'

but I think that you just need help setting it up right???

well if you are connecting the machine to the network meaning you have a RJ45 cable connected to the machine, for printing you will need the following:
an IP address
and the subnet mask

usually if your router is giving you a 192.168.x.x you will need a 24 bit subnet mask. 255.255.255.0

to get to that you need to do the following:
click on start -> click on Run -> type CMD -> hit ENTER -> type ipconfig

that will show the IP of the PC that you are working on and some other infor like subnet and default gateway.

if you are going to setup scan to folder and e-mail then you will need more info like DNS, SMTP...


for the other part of the question, you mentioned that sometimes it prints and sometimes it doesn't. it could be an IP conflict make sure that the IP address that you assigned to the machine is not being used by another device in the network. unplug the cable and ping it. if you get a reply then change the IP on the machine to something that is not being used.
