    canon ir 4045i canont display where to put ip adress

    i have tried going through additional function -preferences-network and the rest of the options like tcp ip are displayed put are not active which means i cant insert ipaddress on the cipier to set it to print on the network any solutions
    ireally need help client is on my neck

    I'm not familiar with this model, but it should have an option to disable DHCP so that you can make changes to the ip address settings. If DHCP is enabled then it will automatically assign an ip address and you can not set one statically.

      I ever found with IRAC5045i can't touch on tcp/ip in network setting.

      This case you can clear PWD-CLR in service mode by * 28 * > copier > function > clear > pwd-clr > ok then try again.
