canon ir 2025 not printing

hello folks,
i just cant seem to get around this problem and i kindly request your assistance
i have tried setting up the above copier (ir 2025) to print on via a network and the machine does not respond when i send a print job yet i followed the following procedure


. (1). Display Additional Functions screen - Press [Additional Functions] key. - Enter System Manager ID and a password if you are asked to do so. (2). Display TCP/IP Settings screen - On the LCD panel, select: [SYSTEM SETTINGS] > [NETWORK SETTINGS] > [TCP/IP SETTINGS]. (3). Setting IP Address-Related Items Automatic IP address allocation - Select [IP ADDRESS AUTO] and press [OK]. - Press the arrow key, select 'ON', and then press [OK]. - Select each item such as DHCP and make settings. Fixed IP address allocation - Select [IP ADDRESS] and press [OK]. - Enter the IP address to make settings, and press [OK]. - Likewise, make settings for [SUBNET MASK] and [GATEWAY ADDRESS]. (4). DNS SERVER - Select [DNS SETTINGS] to display DNS setting screen. - Press the required items and make settings. (5). Proxy Settings - Select [PROXY SETTINGS] to display Proxy setting screen. - Press the required items and make settings. (6). Return to the Basic Features screen - Press [Stop] or press [Additional Functions] until each setting screen is closed.

after success in installing the settings i can ping the copier see it via the web monitor device and everything seems ok untill i send a print job then i get a single beep.

NB: paper settings are all ok but i just cant get the print job and no error but just a single beep . what could be the problem

Make sure you are using the UFR driver.

Try to print from your laptop using a crossover cable and see if the machine prints. Is it a work group or domain network? Are you using DHCP or Static IP addressing? try using the latter. Are you using a HUB or SWITCH to connect the nodes? Try a network switch, its more intelligent than a hub.
Beware: Our market here is full of counterfeit products, I wouldn't be surprised if the LAN cable you are using doesn't work; you could try another cable from a different source, I had that nasty experience.

i agree with the above, can you ping it, RUI it? Check for IP restrictions in the settings Especially if this is a refurbish

i finally got round the problem i had to change the printer board and what was preventing me from doing this is i felt the copier was brand new but i discovered i just had to do it but any way thanks for your replys

Please help me,
I can not print my IR2025 from pc with network (all IP configuration is working).
Printing via USB is ok.
I can ping to IR from cmd in pc.
let me know about difference between ir2015 firmware and ir2015n firmware.
Some of my friends advice me to re-insatl new firmware (2025n).

N stands for NETWORK.... if you dont have that driver might be the problem...

things is.... you didn't mention ANY network setting

how can we see whats wrong?
