scanning to email (junk mail issue) Ricoh

    Hi Everyone,

I have problem with customerscanning to his email address using outlook 2010 from Ricoh MPC4502A. His scans arealways going to junk mail first. At the machine he selects his email addresswith his sender name selected and still appears in junk email.

I have tried moving junk mail scansto inbox, checked junk mail settings turn off automatic filteringand still no go. Is there anything I can do about the issue or is itthe users problem?

If anyone has a answer or solution that would be awesome.

    Cheers

Try adding his email address (whatever email address he's scanning from) to his contact list in outlook

Make a folder specifically for scans, make a rule/exception to route those e-mails to the "scans" folder in outlook!

Try adding the email address that is used to authenticate to the address book. If an email is in junk mail folder that does not belong there, highlight that message and mark it as "Not Junk".
If he is using IMAP to receive, it might be going into the Junk folder on the email server. In that case, log in to the webmail access and do the above steps there.
