Canon Scan to Email

Does anyone know how to set up scan to email using the customers Microsoft Exchange server? I only know how to set the copier up using a free SMTP server like Post Cast. I am told that you can use the customers MS Exchange server but I don't know what the settings should be. Do you have to set something up within MS Exchange as well? I don't know. Mostly we have iR-3300i's in the field but we do have a few 5000i's.

Any ideas?

all you need is the hostname of the server or the IP address that is the Exchange server. ask their Admin for all that info he should be able to provide you with all the info make sure you have the right port by default it should be 25

if they have Microsoft Outlook installed you can also get the settings from any of the Client PCs
