    Meter reads for IPv6

We use print audit facilities manager which works well but I have one customer that is using IPv6 and our current option doesn't support IPv6.

Don't need alerts for consumables. Just needs meter counts. Any recommendations.

Wasn't on purpose. This is good size company. We just installed 70 mfp/printers this week. They made a mistake when they created the network as it is a class C network with a /24 subnet. So basically they are very limited on IP addresses and don't plan on changing this for few months. So IPv6 was used to free up as many IPv4 address as possible.

It was a very interesting week dealing with this install. We thought we had problems with buildings next door not able to work with IPv6. Workstations couldn't ping any devices on IPv6. It confused us all. It was realized many of the workstations in the other buildings were on windows xp which don't support IPv6. We found that the win 7 PCs could ping them. But the drivers are on a print server so the XP computers can print fine even though they can't actually ping the printer or access the embedded web page. Feel like I'm re-learning the basics all over again.

With all drivers we installed on the server we used the setup file as it allows searching for IPv6 devices and keeps you from having to type in all those long complex addresses. Then we normally would use the printer properties dialog to launch the embedded web pages.
