Hello everyone,

I am looking to flash a Di620 to upgrade the firmware to a more recent
version. Does anyone have the firmware file(s) I need, so that I can copy
them onto a Flash Memory Card?

If i remember correctly the firmware was replacing all the eproms in the machine. I haven't seen one of these in a while.
You may be able to download firmware and reprogram the eproms.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the reply. I have replaced ALL the necessary ROM's that came with the PrintLink 062 kit, including the new Print Engine ROM that replaced IC2A on PWB-A board. The problem I'm having is that the manual that came with the PrintLink 062 kit says (on page 12) that the "Flash ROM must be upgraded when installing this kit". Then, on page 17 of the manual, it states that "With the copier unplugged and the PrintLink 062 controller power switch turned off, insert the Flash Memory Card included in the installation kit into the card slot on PWB-B".

The main problem being: I did not receive a Flash Memory Card with the kit. It has gone missing. So, I figure that if I could get my hands on the file, I could simply copy it onto a Flash Memory Card and then use it to upgrade the copier's Firmware.

Let me know what you think about this idea, as I think that if I somehow sourced either the file or the Flash Memory Card itself (with the file already installed onto in), I should be able to upgrade the Firmware on the Di620.
