My knowledge with MAC OS is very limited but am slowly picking things up.
I have a customer using MAC OS 10.9.5 who is able to print. The customer has a Sharp MX-C301W. They have the driver installed twice, once for colour and once for black and white with B/W as default.
The customer has a colour document which they want to print in B/W which works fine when they go File -> Print, but this customer wants to be lazy and hit the quick print button which prints any document in colour.
So my question is how do I set the quick print button to print in B/W?
I have done some quick research and found a procedure on setting the printing defaults to B/W through CUPS, but this hasn't made a difference.
Another thing that frustrated me on multiple PC's was when i went File -> Print -> Presets -> Show Presets, the next window had a list of Current settings, Default settings and Last Used settings. It showed the current settings OK but when i selected Default settings or Last Used settings the application (Word or Safari) would crash.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
