    [Ver 1.1.2.57]
Is every one content with the iTToolbox GUI (Graphic User Interface ) overall layout so far?
Is there anything in the over all interface you would prefer to see different ?
    Example:
I found I'm running out of keyboard buttons with the PRINTER and MY FAV's tool tray layout.
I thought about adding a keyboard scroll or popup function to allow more keys/button functions to scroll into view, but this may also inhibit user functions on smaller Laptop and Win-Tablet screens.

Is programming of your own button hint/help text enough information when shown down on the status bar, or would people prefer the button help text to popup an outline/callout style menu ?

If Tech's would like some personal 101 training on the iTToolbox App only, then feel free to PM or email me.
Please be advised I do not have the time to allocate personalise training on how to use any other 3rd party software applications.

If you would like to see change or updates to the iTToolbox software, please add your comments on the forum or PM, while we're still in the software design phase.

    ...............

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

    For the beta testers.

Can someone confirm this button text fault.

    [ver 1.1.2.57]
    [Button text fault]
If changing the button attributes to colour or bigger than the button field
the button text becomes blank ?
I've seen it on win8.1 so far.

    [Solution]
Reset the button text to normal size an or no bold font.
The button name edit box inside the Key Programming popup menu enlarges oversize for some reason.

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

    Those using the ittoolbox.

A button function to google search copytechnet.com.
An Input dialog box[d:h] pops up and allows the user to enter search text.
It then loads iexplore.exe and runs the google search command line parameters.
You can change the command to firefox.exe or chrome.exe if you wish.

    command C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\iexplore.exe
    parameter "www.google.com/search?q=[d:h]&sitesearch=copytechnet.com&gws_rd=cr,ssl&ei=12 3"

If anybody has any handy button functions please share them to the forum. The best ones will
go into the next version of the iTToolbox program for toolbox general distribution.
Any button function will do. Eg. Load GoosesGuide.pdf. Load KyoceraTI-Lib.pdf, etc....

The overal job editor concept was for both manager and personal use.

If people prefer a personal fixit memoir diary I could add in addtional search fuctions and keyfield records to suit.

    Yer....no,no....yer... don't care.....?
Actually, I was looking at the job editor with keen interest now that I have access to it. Even though the mothership keeps track of my service calls, that looks very useful for a personal log of what I do while on the clock. (Now I just have to get off my lazy sitting muscles and use it. I promise I will.)

The WIM interface is already done. You can set up a button with an Address Dialog box and off you go.

If you have a copy of the software I will post the button code so you can plug it in a try it.

    command C:\PROGRA~1\INTERN~1\iexplore.exe
    parameter [d:a]

Store the above to any button an launch. An address dialog box will pop up an you can enter and IP address of an MFD.

For what it is worth, I found one glaring issue on my end: when I decompressed the files to a new folder, that folder was made "Read Only". That caused all the buttons in the command window to be unassigned. Once I turned that off the buttons were restored. This might just be an issue with Win 8/10, but it might still be something to note in the help file so dopes like me know to check that.
Still getting the date errors, but as you said earlier that's just a regional thing.
Is there any other information you'd like to know about this? If so, let me know.
    [ver1.1.2.57]
    1. Send a small screen shot of the date-time issue.
    2. Read only issues is an odd one. There is a autorun.inf folder that might lock you out when loading from USB stick.
    3. A lot more than first thought. It's not that difficult. It's just a learning curb. Once you program some buttons yourself you'll get the hang of it quickly. The CONFIG tabsheet shouldn't be easy to access, it might be causing unnecessary concern. There is a lot of hidden system options in the config that may never be used. Disregard the config for now.

    [Known bugs]
There is a extra comment text bug with new USER1 file filter on open/saved dialog in the config tabsheet. Just remove the //comment text an the filter should work.

    Ok Beta-Testers. Any everyone else.

The latest ittbV11257.zip. See the below public link.

    https://www.hightail.com/download/bXBiYkJpZ2dubVZ4Tk1UQw

The file will be available for download for the next 24hrs.

The above version has been modified with a 5x5 keyboard and updated help.pdf ver2.0 files.
The modified version has been optimised for laptop screens.
There have been a few bug fixes along with extra token functions.
I have configured the WinXP toolbox with a heap of button examples, these should get you going with your own software programming and knowledge base functions.

Please send all correspondence here to the copytechnet forum so others can follow the progress.

Take your time, your the boss here.
This has already reminded me of an old favorite, tracert. I'd forgotten about that ever since I found the "Is It Down Right Now?" website.
    Thanks!

If I change the Tray-Tool button keyboard from 6x4 to 5x5 ; all your current tools box files will not load.
That means all your current tool button configurations will be lost. You'll have to start afresh.
I see how the 5x5 graphic user interface(GUI) looks and feels.

My enthusiasm is a tad low. I have to get more paying jobs out the way first.

The missus gets the sh!ts big time when I do too many luv jobs.... doh!...
