    Ricoh MPC3001 cannot scan to email

    Good day,

    please can someone assist me, I am trying to scan to email but it does not seem to work, It has been working yesterday but this morning it stopped and gives me a transmission error. I have checked the network, it is working fine, email is working, SMTP is added.

    any idea why this isn't working?

    have you tried going into user tools , system settings , file transfer . if you select smtp server you can try a connection test to the server . also in interface settings you can try a connection test on your dns . maybe also just check your gateway address.

      Immediately after it errors go to User Tools - System Settings- Interface Settings and print settings. There should be three pages printed. Look at the last page for any line that has SMTP or SMTPC. An error code should be listed. Google the code.

        Thanks for the feedback guys, not sure what happened. I just removed the IP and added again and it started working.
