    Ricoh MPC4500 Scan to MAC OS10.10

    Can anyone tell me in simple terms how to (or if it is even possible) set up scan to folder on a MAC os10.10?

    OS X uses SMB as its native file sharing protocol as of OS X 10.7

      Apple may have made SMB "native", but it depends on the highest version that the MFP is able to use that is installed with the "frimwar"!

      The post above outlines how to make OS X "rollback" to V 1.x so it is "compatible".

      The post above is for a Kyocera, but it shouldn't matter for the Ricoh...I had a situation that I had to do the above on a Savin color machine (same as Ricoh!)

        OS X 10.7 should be using SMB2, so if the C4500 has the latest frimwar that allow it to scan to Server 2008 then it should be able to scan to the Mac without any issues.
