Gestetner DSm616 - help to setup scan to email

Please can somebody help me to setup in Gestetner DSm616 scan to email, step by step ?
Any comment or ideas would be appreciated..

It is too old to support SMTP over SSL so your options for scan to email are severely limited by the fact that almost all email providers require at least SSL, many require TLS.

You can install Stunnel or a similar software based SMTP relay on a computer on the same network as the 616, but your best option is to replace with a newer machine.

A relay is difficult to handle.
Have a look at www.janaserver.de. Its avaliable in english,french and allemagne.
I use it in many installations for sending email from machine to this software and
Jana sends it via ssl etc. to provider.
Jana is at LAN like an internal mailserver, external like a normal secure mail-client.
Years ago, konicaminolta tells in a technical bulletin, that a lot of problems with
Email-scan can be solved with this tool and i can say, they are right.

Sound like the same as Stunnel. What you are describing "Jana is at LAN like an internal mailserver, external like a normal secure mail-client" is a local software relay service, i.e. Stunnel.
