PCC loses connection with Equitrac server.

    Hello.

I have been experienced that some machines loses the connection with the Equitrac Server.
This has been happening in a random manner. This is not epidemic but forces me to travel the customer to configure and save de settings. (and I am noticing that the custumer is already suspicion of the application reliability.)

Is there any hot fix or something else I should do?

Note: I am talking about the newest Equitrac and PCC version. I have been searching but I do not find anything to solve it.

Did you update the firmware of the machine? especially the java update fixes a lot of issues with PCC.

Yes!!! Java is Up to Date. In fact, this is the procedure for all installations with the embedded PCC

are you using the server name in the PCC config?

what about trying the fully qualified domain name, ie; servername.domainname.

        or try the server IP.

When its "dropped off" can you do a ping command from the machine back to the IP of the server?
