I am new here having an issue with a sharp mfp (outlined in the sharp forum). I don't know if there is against any forum rules but I wanted to offer a reward to any user that solves my dilemma. I would match that cash reward with a donation to the site as well
Can I offer a cash reward on this forum?

Re: Can I offer a cash reward on this forum?
seeing how many suggestions IMHO you should make a donation to CTN. This is to keep the site up n running. UNLESS you pay for firmware/manuals, none of the techs here get any money from the site, we do this for the love of helping/sharing knowledge.
please make a donation to the site: https://www.copytechnet.com/forums/v....php?do=donate
I think if you kept the convo to PM's there wouldn't be a problem.Comment

I don't think offering money will change much. You're an end-user, correct?
Keep in mind that it's tough trying to help an end user. Half the time they don't know what we're talking about (no offense) and it's frustrating on our end.
With that said, I've seen techs on this site go to great lengths to help end users. But you need to provide them with everything they ask for...even if it doesn't make sense to you. Good luck.Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment

I've done my best to full fill all requests as well as I can. There have been alot of suggestions. To date no answers that resolved the issue. I had a sharp tech come in from the nearest service company. He spent some.time looking at the machine, cleaned it. No answers though. Kinda frustrated at this point.Comment

I feel your pain, my man. Sometimes I want to smash a copier with a hammer. And I'm trained on 'em.
On a serious note, keep in mind that we're not there and you probably don't have parts & supplies on hand to swap out to help troubleshoot the problem.
PS - The tech that came out to repair your machine should have been able to fix it. Was he trained on Sharps?Adversity temporarily visits a strong man but stays with the weak for a lifetime.Comment
