    Canon C7000VP - connection problem

    Hello,

I am having problems with the connection to my machine. It worked fine for a few weeks and then one day it just stopped. We've literally tried everything. Is there a possibility that there is a loose wire inside the machine? Can someone give me a list a reason this could happen? Is there a way to print directly from printer?

Check connections inside the server and make sure that all 3 hard drive connections are seated correctly.
Re-seat connections on Motherboard for HDD.

power off c7000vp> use correct shutdown procedure
remove all connections from server to printer (what model is server ?)> A3000 ?
power back c7000vp> see if printer comes to ready
        1. Enter Service mode (Additional Functions > 2 and 8 > Additional Functions).
        2. Select Copier > Option > Int-Face > IMG-CONT.
        3. Change the setting of IMG-CONT to "0"
        4. Power off Printer> then back on
        5. Change the setting of IMG-CONT back to "3"
        6. Now reconnect server to printer > power off then power back on

        Always use correct shutdown procedure

The meanings of the network status LEDs on the imagePRESS Server A2000 / A3000---------------------

Please be aware that the information presented here is for reference only as this product and associated Operating Systems are considered to be legacy.

Two LEDs next to the network connector indicate the network speed.

When data transfer occurs between the imagePRESS Server and the network, LED2 blinks to indicate network activity.
The upper RJ-45 port on the imagePRESS Server back panel is reserved for the network connection with a straight-through Ethernet cable.
The lower RJ-45 port is reserved for the Command/Status connection to the copier with a crossover Ethernet cable.

Be sure to connect the proper cable to each port. ?

When you power on or reboot the imagePRESS Server, the system runs the following startup routine on the Control Panel. It takes approximately two minutes for the imagePRESS Server to complete the startup routine and reach Idle.

NOTE: The following figure is approximate. The screens, times, and sequences you observe may be slightly different
