incorrect paper size canon ir 2000

Good Day Everyone

i have a very odd problem on a old machine canon ir 2000,it will copy fine one day then the next will spit 2 pages out on A4 with both trays and say incorrect paper size but works fine on A4R,most of the spares have reached they life span i have checked sm and checked paper size sensors but still no luck???

try cleaning the sticky glue from the paper pickup solenoid

Thank you managed to find the board is a problem unfortunately contacted canon nv they have told me they is not much spares readily available anymore for this particular machine best for upgrade ,i agree on this, i hope the customer has no sentimental value for this machine

I know this machine very well, it is only the sensor flag of the vertical path that does not return to its home position, Never a board problem, i used to fixed this "incorrect paper size" message couple of times especially for IR1600/2000, Canon will surely recommend to rubbish this machine because it is already discontinued products.
