ir c5185 auto size when copying from glass

When placing letter normal or R or legal size paper on glass it selects ledger when adf is closed. Ideals? thanks.

Good evening. I do recall this happening to me some time back and it is a calibration of the ADF and Platen under service mode. It will ask for Letter - Start, Letter-R - Start, and so on. Once the letter is calibrated it will be good to go. I dont remember where in service mode it was. Hope this helps or points you in the right direction.
