    Canon ir1435if wont start toner mix on set up

    I just opened a new Canon ir1435if, added a new toner bottle, and it wont run the toner mix. Every time i hit the OK button it tells me " Job in progress... Wait a moment, then try again ". Has anyone else seen this? Going to try another bottle of GPR 54 toner. Will let you guys know if it worked or not.

    New installation and the machine is showing "Job Processing"

    New installation and the machine is showing "Job Processing" once the toner bottle is installed.


    "Job Processing" was cleared by pulling the toner cartridge out and then re_seating the cartridge back into the machine.

    When the cartridge is fully inserted you can feel the cartridge lock into position. After rotation the machine will rotate bottle slightly to the left counter clockwise.

    TECH TIP:
    Toner Saver Mode .
    Recommend this mode be turned Off in Adjustment/Maintenance settings under the Menu Key.
    **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

      Ok I see what you mean. I reinserted the toner bottle (cause I don't have another one to use) but I am still in the same situation. The machine isn't rotating the bottle to the left. Tried cheating the machine and pushing the gray tab down. Still no change.

        OEM Cartridge

        Have you tried removing the toner bottle completely, and let the machine boot up to the point where it asks for it?

        Make sure the orange tabs are removed.
        Also make sure the door locks the drum in, if it is a little loose it will display the message.

          OK so the machine jammed from tray one. It must have pulled it at start up. Now I have a new message "the remaining toner info cannot be detected properly. non-Canon cartridge or a cartridge with the wrong item number may be inserted, or no cartridge is inserted.". This is an OEM cartridges. We don't purchase third party/recycled/or off brand toner. Again I have no other GPR 54 toner in stock to test with. Any suggestions?

            After reinstalling the drum for the 500th time it goes to working
