IR2000 says add toner

Hi,
I have a new customer that I am going out to see tomorrow and she says they added toner but the machine still says add toner.

Is there anything I should look for?
(I don't normally work on Canons)

maybe the customer forgot to remove the plastic strip on the toner cartridge..

Hi.you can check the developing assembly.&the contacts.or the toner cartridge expired.
