    does anyone know how to reset the drum on a 6012. it does not have a u3 to reset. only lets me have a u1 or u2 also reset machine through tp 3 & 4 didnt help
    it has a new drum

          you cant reset the drum, its on a counter pcb that resides on the front of the drum unit. when its done about 29,000 to 30,000 your done.

              you cant disconnect the counter pcb because it will give you an error. Find an np 7130 that needs a drum unit put in an np 6012 drum unit instead. remove the counter pcb and put it in yours. np7130 does not use a counter but uses the same drum unit except for cosmetic difference. cannot use a 7130 in a 6012 because of counter.
