    How to factory reset LBP6650?

I have an LBP6650 at a clients and their i.t. are jumping up and down because they can't log in to it with the rui.
they said they have tried 7654321 and 1234567, plus a number of other logins which other devices are set to, still no joy.

Is there a way to factory reset it and start from scratch?

    Cheers

Try this case sensitive password Hejsan

    or
The RUI Administrator Password is stored in the Network Settings, you can reset network settings to default values from the printer's control panel:

    Settings>Interface Menu>Network Menu>Init.N/W Set

When the message<OK?> appears on the control panel, click OK

I would print out the configuration page so to reconfigure the printer's network settings after the reset.

    OR
    1. Power down the printer. Hold down the Online and Cancel Job buttons and turn on the printer.

    2. When READY is indicated on the LCD screen you can release the Online and Cancel Job buttons.

    3. Press the Settings Button until SERVICE MODE is indicated on the LCD screen.

    4. Then press the Reset button to start SERVICE MODE.

Thanks for the info. I believe the operation panel is slightly different, but will give it a try when I go in later today
