Re: Re-insert unit drum
Hi..
This is one of those problems on the first generation that needs a little patience.
Any one of these may fix the issue. I would eleminate them one by one.
1. Remove the laser. Clean the laser windows.
2. Clean the polygon in the laser. ( has fixed the msg )
3. Clean the patch sensor. Air duster. To clear dust within sensors.
4. Chk condition of itb.
5. Upgrade firmware latest.
6. (Try New drum with upgraded firmware)
( proven fix ) only after upgraded firmware though as counters for drum can only be reset in new firmware.)
Lf zeros...
Remove old drum chip and insert into new drum. Reset drum counters.
This old sim has been initialised by the machine. It will except the new drum also.
This issue requires alot of patience.....
Having inserted 4/5 drums in frustration... its one of those calls ' why me again 'Comment

Re: Re-insert unit drum
Sorry to hear that, but this is only one reason I refused to sell this model. Too many engineered problems. This problem should be pulled back to the shop.Comment
