Canon IR 3245 three hole punch adjust

Customer's three hole binder is off 1/4 of an inch. Looking at the binder book I need to adjust the holes North and South, not east to west. I am assuming the punches are lock in place with a hex and needs to be slid apart?

    TIA

What type of finisher is in the machine (internal or external)?

I found that there is a slide adjust at the rear of the three hole punch. You pull the whole finisher assemble out and there is a locking screw and an indexed measurement ruler.
