Ir c5185 paper size on glass

We have a 5185 that displays different original sizes when placed on glass. No problem from adf. Thanks for replys

Make sure the ADF open/closed sensors are being actuated by top cover (in bottom left corner of cover) when closed down---The machine then identifies the size of the original on GLASS based on the combination of changes at 5 points.

Check in service mode under COPIER > OPTION > BODY for MODEL-SZ, CONFIG, SENS-CNF and SCANSLCT are set to 1.

Make sure that in Service Mode Level 2 under COPIER > OPTION > BODY > SENS-CNF is set to 1
SENS-CNF gives you the option to select either the AB-configuration (0) or the inch-configuration (1).


Inspect or Replace the size detection sensors, clear R-con (make sure to print out a P Print/or use original settings from under cover---service label settings (label attached behind reader unit front cover) ) and perform a CCD adjustment.
