I have a Canon DR5010C scanner that has a problem with the stop fingers not wanting to come back up when a scan job is finished. It started after a PM when the fingers would come and go back down 4 or 5 times before deciding to stay in the down position, when they should have stayed in the up position. I have replaced the finger position photo sensor, the one way gear, the electric feed clutch and even the transport motor. It did finally start working briefly for about 3 or 4 hours and now is back to staying down.
