    IPF755

Hello, i recently changed the printhead of mi IPF755 and about two days later i had Hardware Error 03800500-2f2f. In addition all prints are coming out with these thin lines. Anyone ever seen these lines before. They appear every 5cm from each other in all drawings.

This is what the Service Manual says about your error

    Hardware error.
03800500-2F2F - Turn off printer, wait, then turn on again.

03800500-2F2F - The non-discharge of the EVEN or ODD line (640-nozzles) is detected the 320-nozzles or more.

Check the head management sensor and surrounding parts.
Check that the printhead is installed correctly.
    Replace the head management sensor.
    Replace the printhead.

Maybe the 2 issues are connected but perhaps the thin lines might be due to paper issues (paper creating arch and so on).

If they are connected it means that when you put your new head, it did not finish installation properly and as a result you should do a "band adjustment".

The problem is that probably when you try to do a "band adjustment" it will pop up the (2f2f or 2f30) error.

        I would say :

        1. Update firmware first.
        2. Go to Sm and make a "Nozzle position check"
        3. Print a Nozzle Check from SM

Of course you need to check the standard things like : Tubes have ink and purge is working fine (make the test of purge manually to see suction ability).

        hope it helps
