[Misc] C1 - Automatic Gradation Adjustment

Good morning.

Some of our C1's perform the automatic gradation adjustment (full adjust) with 3 test prints and scanning these - others just print a lot of gradation pages, without the need of scanning them.
Can i set the method somewhere?
Did not find anything in the sm. There's just the method of 3 prints/scans mentioned.

I first thought it is a difference from C1 to C1+, but it is not.

Help is much apreciated.

Not service.Check in user mode. Choose printer only instead printer+scanner

1. Select Additional Functions>Device Management Settings. Then select Auto
Gradation Adjustment.

I have found very little difference. When you don't place them on glass, they are scanned in the duplex tray. Check which gives best results. If your reader is not clean and calibrated properly, it is worse. Printer only uses the duplex tray reader

Proper calibration techniques

on the imagePRESS series the proper sequence is:

1. Shading Correction. (Visual adjustment or using an I-One calibrator).
2. Auto Gradation (internally or externally).
3. ColorPASS calibration. (Using an I-0ne calibrator or equivalent).

All calibrations should be done on 28lb Hammermill paper.
