    [Error Code] IR ADV C 2225I -E020-1360

    Issue history
    *went to customer place to replace all drums
    *after part replacement
    first error e020-1160
    cleaned the laser unit and clear the mcon then resarted the machine
    second error e020-1060
    which is related to yellow drum so inserted the old drum then restarted the machine
    final error e020-1360

    action taken

    *replaced bk drum
    replaced magenta drum
    *replaced yellow drum
    *replaced the laser unit
    *replaced the registration patch sensor
    *replaced the itb
    *replaced high voltage pcb assembly (fm3-8175)
    *replaced the dc controller
    still e020-1360

    now all drums ,itb and pcbs are new
    help to solve the issue

    There is a TB, changing some SM settings will fix this, sorry, don't remember exactly what. Also update the Firmware before drum replacement.

        Field Remedy
        Tighten the screw of the inner middle panel.

          hi
          already check that screw it was in tight position ,even though i opened the cover and cleaned the connectors .
          error is not disappearing

            is this will happen if toner hopper has any issue ?

              You have to make these steps:

              Clean Laser unit.
              Check the drum trail assembly "check attached file"
              Check the toner hoper "check attached file"
              Swap drum chip "put the old drum chip instate of new drum chip"
              upgrade the firmware.

              If you follow these steps I hope your problem will solve.

                IMHO it's just bad drums units. Think about it, everything is fine till you replace the drum. The first time i had this error i replaced the laser unit (i shouldn't! ) and the error went away. The same error happened on the same machine the next time i replaced the drum again. I tricked the machine somehow, put the old drum back and then the new one with the power on. In another case i changed the drums after powering the machine off. Have to confirm this power off/on condition when replacing drums. All that other stuff in the TB is just a bs in my opinion.
